Michigan

I was born and raised in the real mitten state (not the mangled “mitten” state of Wisconsin)…seriously, how is this even a debate? I love Michigan because it's my home but it's also a pretty kickass State, so it's easy to love. This is the only State where you'd make a Michigan left, stop at a party store to pick up a pop and Better Made chips before heading up north. Beyond our native slang, and I know I'm being slightly biased but…..

What other State has a comparable breadth of diversity to that of Michigan?

Not to boast but just look at our Great Lakes, dunes, rivers, streams, forests, islands, trails, northern lights, and our painted rocks. Look at our music scene, festivals, cultural diversity, camping, and fishing. And let's not forget our underestimated wine scene coupled with a pretty damn strong craft beer game! My intention is to explore it all and report back to you fine folks…enjoy!
